  1. I used MARINE POLYTROL on a white surface and it doesn't seem to work. Why not?
  2. Why can't you apply MARINE POLYTROL to a hot surface?

I used MARINE POLYTROL on a white surface and it doesn't seem to work. Why not?

Even if white is a colour, it isn't pigmented in the same way as blue, green or red. For whites, there is no pigment and therefore, MARINE POLYTROL can't restore them.

Why can't you apply MARINE POLYTROL to a hot surface?

MARINE POLYTROL must penetrate the surface to be able to restore the colours. If it is applied to a hot surface, it will probably dry before it has had the chance to penetrate properly and restore the colour of the surface you are treating.
